What else happens in the Lifestyle

How To Swing As Parents

So you are a swinger and you have kids.  How do you juggle those two things? How do you maintain family life and swinging life?  The answers will look a little different for everyone. A good rule of thumb is to do your best to keep the swinging part of your life quiet.  Depending on the age of your children, subjects like these can cause a lot of confusion. Also exposing your children to new kinds of people always carries a certain risk.  If you are attending an event on a FWB level and you don’t know everyone who is going to be there, don’t go overboard on the drinking. Keeping your wits about you until you are sure of the people is always good to do,

We have some Lifestyle friends who we are very close with and have played while our young children were asleep upstairs.  But we all had the understanding that if the slightest noise was heard that everything stopped. They were family people just like us and understood the way it is.  Ultimately how you choose to proceed in the Lifestyle while also juggling family life will look different for everyone. This is again a time for lots and lots of communication with your SO on how you want to move forward.

Taking a Break In The Lifestyle

No matter how much you are enjoying the Lifestyle there may come a time where you and your SO need to take a break from it.  Most swingers you meet will have taken a break at some point. Changes in your life, a new job, new baby, illness, ect…. Are all reasons people take a break.  You can always go back to swinging when your life levels out. Sometimes people take a break to work on their own relationships. Never apologize for taking a break.  You have to take care of yourselves and your relationship above all else.
